Riding With Sheep
Enticed by the photos posted on the UK Z3 Message Board that became also the posters at Homecoming 2001, I set off for England to meet the UK Z3ers.
Tim was there at the airport to pick me up in his Smurf-Blue M Roadster.

Being a seasoned Z3er myself, I knew to pack light. Still, I probably brought too much.

Tim was kind enough to place the US Flag magnet donated by Skin Mechanic on the Zmurf.

So here we were on the wrong side of the road, and me wondering how different this was going to be than Z3ing in the US.
So far, just the same.
Drive until the reserve light comes on...
But...the price to fill the tank.... is $50!

I wonder what the English did so wrong that they get stuck with these tiny gloveboxes?
This is pretty silly.
The English pay nearly twice as much for their Zeds as we do in the US, where does that money go?

Maybe it's for headlight washers and car alarms as standard equipment and a teeny tiny glove compartment for elves.

Tim used his software and cellphone to dig us up lodgings for the night in Tewkesbury.

As soon as we were settled, I asked Tim to sign my Homecoming 2001 Photo- it was the last time I had seen him.
