The Z3 Girls are especially happy that this year we have more roundels in the women's bathroom than they have in the men's, making up for last year's total lack of roundels in the ladies' bathroom.
Yes, I am serious.

Before I knew it, fixit day was drawing to a close, with people slowly trickling out. It was thne I realized that whatever was holding me upright for the entire day was starting to go away. The Ark secure, it was time for Indy to head back to his teaching job. Colors on Parade was still painting for various cars when I left around 4:30. I think my mental state was written all over my face, because Rachel looked really concerned about my ability to get home safely. In fact, I almost decided to go back to the hotel instead. Almost....

Every adventure should end with a rousing score. No matter how much you like your favorite CD's, you can only listen to them for so long before they become, well, less than rousing. After having played and replayed all the ones in my car during my Washington Bridge fiasco, I knew I wasn't going to find enjoyment in those for a while. Rachel wasn't quite finished with surprises.
Being one of the two adventurers from the farthest away, she saw fit to smile on me with a collection of new driving music. This is great news and another welcome break since we seem to share similar musical tastes. I purposely didn't look at the track titles. There's nothing quite like popping in a CD and not knowing what you'll find. What I found was a pretty nice mix...from oldies to classic rock and more... just my style, as I suspected. There were quite a few songs I'd never heard before, a lot of them I liked, but more than anything else, it was great to start a new adventure...the CD's are still in my car 2 weeks later, and still get regular play time.
Fixers are so cool. Than and Mario gave me much better directions for getting back home, bypassing NYC and saving me lots of time. I was home at 10:30 and in bed by 11:00pm. I quickly posted a note on Caranostra to let Rachel know I'd made it home safe and sound, and promptly went to bed.

I slept for the next 12 hours.
When the hat and jacket get put away at the end of the day,

it's all about the smiles, and this is one of the things that just keeps the fixit smiles going......
We have top men working on it right now. Top...Men (and women).... that's right, the Z3ers.

Thanks EVERYONE for a great Fixit Day...
Would I do it again? Hell ya... "It's not the hours...It's the mileage" :)
